Rosacea Treatment in Fort Myers, FL

If you suffer from rosacea, you are familiar with the symptoms and how they can impact your appearance. To manage these symptoms and find relief, you may want to consider rosacea treatment at Florida Skin Center. We offer this and other dermatology treatments to residents of Punta Gorda, Cape Coral, Lehigh Acres, and Fort Myers, FL.

What is Rosacea?

Rosacea is a condition that resembles acne, characterized by redness of the facial skin and often accompanied by small bumps. Rosacea is sensitive to sunlight, certain foods, stress, and other factors that may cause your symptoms to worsen. If left untreated, rosacea can also worsen on its own. Since the cause of rosacea is not currently known, the best treatment options involve managing symptoms and avoiding things that may further irritate the skin.

How is Rosacea Treated?

Florida Skin Center invites guests to explore our skin care product store for rosacea solutions. There, we have specific skin products, product lines, and even makeup that is designed for men and women with rosacea. These products help soothe the skin and promote skin health while minimizing the visibility of rosacea symptoms. In addition to skin care products, we may recommend pulsed dye laser treatments with the Candela VBeam. This treatment targets the blood vessels responsible for redness and other symptoms to provide relief.

What Can I Expect from Treatment?

The Candela VBeam pulsed dye laser treatment is safe and effective. With dynamic mist cooling, guests remain comfortable throughout the procedure. In some cases, you may experience swelling or redness following the procedure, although this typically fades within a few hours. Most guests notice results after just a single treatment; however, as many as three treatments may be necessary to achieve the desired results. Since rosacea cannot be completely cured, some guests may choose to have regular maintenance appointments to maintain their results.

How Much Does Rosacea Treatment Cost?

In order to determine the exact cost of your treatment, we invite guests to schedule an appointment so that we can develop a personalized treatment plan that will satisfy both your health and cosmetic goals. Once a treatment plan is determined, we will be able to provide a clear breakdown of costs. To make our services accessible to those who need them, we offer flexible financing and payment options. We also accept insurance when applicable.

Rosacea can cause discomfort and redness in the face, but with rosacea treatment at Florida Skin Center, you can look and feel like yourself again. We offer this and other medical dermatology services to men and women living in Fort Myers, Punta Gorda, and the surrounding areas of Florida.
