A physician assistant at Florida Skin Center, Soledad Triana is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Florida Academy of Physician Assistants, as well as, a Fellow Member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
Fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese, Soledad graduated from Nova Southeastern University, receiving a Master of Medical Science — Physician Assistant degree. Her previous education includes a Bachelor of Science degree from the National University of Mar del Plata in Argentina, and an Associate of Science degree in Respiratory Care from Edison State College in Fort Myers, Florida. At this institution, she earned the Edison State College Outstanding Respiratory Care Student Academic Award, received the the Laurel Dawn McNew Scholarship for Respiratory Care, made the Dean’s List, and became a member of the Lambda Beta Society — the National Honor Society for the Profession of Respiratory Care.
Soledad’s training as a PA included practice in Pediatrics, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Surgery, Cardiology, Obstetrics/Gynecology, and Emergency Medicine, concluding her professional education in the area of Dermatology at Florida Skin Center, under the supervision of Dr. Anais Aurora Badia, M.D., D.O., F.A.A.D.
Soledad’s previous medical experience includes years of practice as a Registered Respiratory Therapist at Fawcett Memorial Hospital in Port Charlotte, Florida. As such, she obtained the National Board of Respiratory Care certifications of Neonatal/Pediatric Respiratory Care Specialist and Pulmonary Function Technologist.
Today, she provides complete skin care at Florida Skin Center’s four locations in southwest Florida, performing routine skin checks, diagnosis and treatment for skin conditions in children and adults, cancer screening, biopsies and excisions, laser and light therapy, among other on-site dermatological procedures.
