Florida Skin Center has introduced Demi Soulet as the newest physician assistant at the rapidly growing dermatology practice. She will be based at the Fort Myers office to support the office expansion of the founding location. She will also work periodically in the Cape Coral, Lehigh Acres and Punta Gorda offices.
Soulet graduated magna cum laude from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science in exercise science after completing an accelerated STEM program via University of Central Florida’s College of Biomedical Sciences. From there, she went on to Florida International University where she became a Master in Physician Assistant Studies and graduated in the top 10% of her class.
Soulet started her professional career in skin care medicine as a medical assistant before undertaking specialty clinical rotations at a local dermatology practice.
Prior to joining Florida Skin Center, she worked as a dermatology physician assistant at Orlando, and Daytona Beach. Soulet performed cryotherapy, curettage and electrodessication on skin lesions; performed dermatologic surgeries; treated dermatitis, drug eruptions, cellulitis, fungal infections and abscessed cysts, among other procedures.
