What is Laser Hair Therapy?
Laser hair therapy is a device that utilizes low level laser technology to improve the appearance of hair. The visible red light from the laser panel travels several layers into the tissue without harming the skin and scalp. The therapeutic light-energy is absorbed by the cells and the process of cell repair begins. Laser light also appears to stimulate microcirculation, decrease inflammation, and increase blood flow to the treated area. Low level laser technology is not a light source that causes thermal or heat damage, therefore, there is no cutting or burning sensation.
